I am proud to announce the first issue of our squadron newsletter. This newsletter will be published monthly by our new PAO staff, Senior Member Jonathon Caesar and C/A1C Rachel Hess, containing upcoming events scheduling and pictures to keep you and your parents well informed.
I am very excited about this summer. My staff has been working hard to maximize training during the summer. The success of these activities depends on the attendance and commitments from each cadet. I am also excited to be part of an explorer post. Our squadron will not change except that there will now be a more diverse range of activities available to you.
Please note the at the squadron level we are not able to provide the full range of opportunities CAP has to offer. I strongly encourage you to experience all CAP has to offer by attending ESTA, wing activities and national activities this summer and all through the year.

Airman Gazette

From the Editor
Welcome to the very first edition of the Airman Gazette. What this will mean for cadets is that you will have a resource available to find out what is happing in the squadron during the month. It will also provide a calendar for the meetings including what to wear. Parents I understand that not all cadets come home and share the information with you so this will be your resource to find out what is going on in your child’s life at CAP. It will also have contact information on the different writers so that if you see an article of something you are interested in you can contact that person to find out how you can help next time.
A little about myself since I will be your editor for the time being. I am a professional photographer who is attempting to start his own business, but my qualifications for this is that I was a cadet public affairs officer for three years prior to my promotion to senior member. I love to talk to people and communicate to others. I will try to get these out the last day of the month so that you have the next months activities in writing.
